About us

Clear fire-code guidance for warehouse storage and hazardous materials.

Freeze Fire Consulting is a California-based fire protection engineering firm focused on high-piled storage, hazardous materials, and third-party plan review. We work with clients throughout California and beyond to help industrial and commercial projects understand California Fire Code requirements and move through permitting with fewer surprises.

What we focus on

Our work centers on three areas:

High-piled storage

Commodity classification, storage arrangement review, and high-piled storage permit support for warehouses, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

Hazardous materials

Hazard classification, maximum allowable quantity (MAQ) analysis, control-area evaluation, and HMIS / HMMP documentation.

Third-party plan review

Independent code compliance review of designs involving storage, hazardous materials, fire sprinklers, fire alarm systems, other fire protection systems, or alternative methods.

Who we work with

We support warehouse operators, manufacturers, racking and material-handling contractors, developers, and design teams. Much of our work is with clients in the Bay Area, Sacramento region, and Central Valley, as well as projects elsewhere in California. Typical projects involve new storage layouts, commodity changes, facility expansions, or permitting challenges where the fire code requirements are not straightforward.

How we work

We start by understanding the storage configuration, materials, and the specific code questions involved. From there we provide a clear scope, deliverable, and timeline so you know what to expect before work begins. Our goal is practical guidance that supports AHJ approval without unnecessary complexity.
